xbox 360 ?

well i was over a friends house tonight and he had a xbox 360 the normal one, and he has xbox live. ive never tried anything like that before but after trying it i gots to have one. so my question is, between the xbox 360 and 360 elite. what one should i get, the normal one and just get some games with the extra cash or get the elite for the extra GB.

You don't NEED the Elite. It'd be nice to have for some things. But in reality you just don't need it. The standard version is just fine, keep in mind the odds of getting the RROD are very high and dealing with that is a pain in the ass.

the elite is the $299 model comes with a 120gb hard drive. The arcade is the cheap one which comes with no hard drive, but has 256 mb of built in storage. Basically worthless if you ever plan on doing anything with it, and a hd for it will run you about $100.

I've got a 20 gig hdd on my 360 and have five gigs left. If your a demo whore your going to want the extra space. I hardly ever dowload a demo but I do have a few arcade titles I bought.

Yea, same as Drake. I've got the 20gb and I've still got about 10 free gb. I just delete demos when I'm bored of them.

Before they dropped the price on the Elite it was cheaper to buy the Arcade and a 120 gig harddrive, but now that they have the 299 deal and that rebate, I'd say get the Elite.

I too have the 20 gig and I have like 6 gigs left.

i have the elite and hardly ever play it lol i love it but i have no good games... i want to find forza 2 and i want to pre-order forza 3, i've never heard of the elites getting rrod though, so i would go with the elite
