The Warden
Well guys im having trouble getting my new build started !

I have no clue what I should do. I want 200-230 WHP but dont know the best way to get at it.

Right now I have a 89 B16a with skunk2 intake mani, rc310 injectors , type-r header, 2.5" straight pipe, and a street tune.....Im maybe braking 120whp and 2ft/lbs of torque lol. My biggest problem with this engine is i have to rev to 4k to drive easy in the city(might be the tall gearing of a LS tranny too!;)).

So, What I want to do is buy a LS and rebuild the sucker from the bottom up! I want to make it a high compression build with PCT pistons and use my p&p head or b16 head.

So here is were I fight with myself. I want the most bang for my buck, so with that said here is whats up.

I have a P&P p75 head with a strong valvetrain, good up to 11k rpm (no need to rev that high) But I have JG turbo cams in right now that will be junk for my build.......So Maybe I can use my stock b16 head with stock cams or upgrade valves and valve springs and run my bc stage 3 cams?

I really could care less for vtec if I make more power with my P&P p75 head.

again here is what I want to do.

B18a/b block bored .25/.50 over and honed.

stock pr4 rods with arp rodbolts and oem bearings.

cleaned and shaved(so pr4 rods will fit) PCT pistons....maybe nippon racing PCT pistons.

P&P p75 head or B16 head which ever makes more power or saves me more money.

BC stage 3 cams or Crower 404/405 cams, depending on what head I use.

and all of this will run on 91 pump gas as my DD.

Need help so please help! :D

Will post pics of head soon. Just need to find usb cable for my cam.

Thanks in advance for anybody's time.

oh and my goal is to spend less than 1k tuned.

Bringing this back from the dead!

Just bought 82mm ITR NPR pistons and some stock LS rods that im going to shotpeen and have the rod bolts pressed out.

Stock LS block will be bored and honed by the end of december!
