I'll be up that way this coming Saturday the 17th to pick up some wheels for a friend and will most likely spend the night there around Arnold, MO. But from what I understand Arnold isn't too far from St Louis. Looking for some cool things to do/areas to stay out of/etc. Any advice??

MO. Brags about having he BBQ in the country , you should research a place and do a Man Vs Food Challenge and report back

How bout a blues joint somewhere and a few adult beverages?

If you haven't been up in the arch, I suggest it. The elevators will freak you out.

Yeah the arch is a must....guy on h-t said it'll make me feel like i'm in a drier lol, something to that effect at least. I do think that a few adult beverages will be consumed.....my buddy going with me will drink anything, I have rich tastes lol.....Long Island Iced Tea drinker here....normally at least $8 a pop wherever I go, may not be "rich" to some people but thats a lot for me.

Anymore suggestions??? Keep 'em coming!

Bitches + hotel room. All the good time you need. Applicable in any city.

Long Island Iced Teas are pretty good when they are actually made right... usually the "bartender" making them cant mix a drink to save their ass, and it ends up not tasting right, or flat out tasting like ass... i use to drink LIITs, but eventually out of frustration on "bartenders" inability to mix a proper LIIT i switched to vodka and cran... it was a good move, and i have not turned back
i still do love a properly mixed LIIT... but they are rare... the best one i ever had to this day was at restaurant in Old Orchard Beach Maine, the mix was perfect, none of the flavors overpowered any of the others, it actually tasted (and went down) like iced tea... they charged $5 and served it in a pint glass... :)

:wtf::tfg::thumbsdown::usuck:

how can you not like BBQ

I second the mostion. Great BBQ is better than head from a girl with mandibular hypertophy. Good BBQ is great. Bad BBQ is good. Either way you can't lose.

I have a friend that says the same thing about sex.

Even when it's bad, it's still pretty good.

Isn't there like some world's largest mall there or something?

Yeah they can be made to taste horrible that's for sure, but either way I enjoy the buzz afterwards lol. Never been drunk but I've been uber close, drank 4 large liit's and tried a few other things... I was right at my limit, lol.

And I've just never liked the taste of bbq, there's my man card.

Touring the brewery is still an option. The arch is kind of neat, and I suggest you just go to Forrest Park. It's like the St. Louis version of Central Park, but obviously much smaller. Art museum and science center there are pretty cool. Really there isn't all that much to do here. There are some decent barbecue places, but KC has the better barbecue.

Just not too interested in the brewery, not interested in beer lol, maybe if we had more time i'd check it out, out of curiosity. The arch is a definite, everything else will come if we decide to stay and depending on time of course. Keep the suggestions coming though, I appreciate them!

Well, looks like we're not going. Friend who bought the wheels called me while ago to say the guy in St. Louis called him and that his garage was broken into; wheels, toolboxes, etc were stolen. Could have just sold them to somebody else idk, just crappy, I was looking forward to the trip.

Friend said he's already found a new set in Port St Lucie, FL but I'm not so sure I can make that trip in such a short amount of time and be back for work Sunday night.

:( damn
