Somebody posted that since our cars dont retain crazy value when restored compared to a 1969 musty fastback, but I was never a fan of the big v8s. Personal pref.
Anyways, i was thinking that since most of them are rwd anyways, why not drop the s2000 engine in one.
Guess somebody beat me to it, probably a million times over too
Its been done. Mustangs are too damn heavy for that motor though..
I like the ford project, that thing is sexah! Its going to take some serious suspension magic for that car to actually run around a track.. Shorter wheel base than the 2k, not nearly as wide, way way lighter.. It'll be a fast little bastard if he can keep it on the track!
I am totally envious of his garage.. 1800sq ft of work space..
I would like to chop up a shitty CRX to put in a F20C with the Civic WagoVan rear end.
And while we're on the swapping topic, my dad had a Spitfire and he almost swapped in a european V6 Ford engine. He went to Austrailia, the shop owner turned into a crackhead and sold my dads car.
Someone is doing this already, but they have the sense to use a s14 rear end. Hell the S2k rear would be a better choice. Or a shortened Ford 9", or pretty much every small rear drive setup other than the wagovan rear end which was designed to handle a fraction of the output from a D16.

I've never seen that CRX build. When I first clicked through I thought, "Oh no, why would you do that to such a clean CRX?". Then as I read and looked at the pictures, it's obvious that guy knows exactly what he is doing.
