Should work fine- you're not looking for ultimate performance on it anyway. ;)

Weber carbs are the easiest thing in the world to play with. I am going to assume that your kit came with the 32/36 DGEV carb like 99% of them do. Read the instructions that come in the box and follow the base setup procedure. I have found that on most cars and especially on Honda's you will need to run the "mixture" screw in quite a bit once you get it started and begin fine tuning it. Also I have seen the need for advancing the timing a little with these guys. Make sure you have your vacuum advance for the distributor hooked up to manifold vacuum and not to the carb. Let me know if I can be of any help on this project. I have installed many weber conversions over the last few years.

Can you post a picture? normally there is a package in the kit that has a universal linkage kit that works well with minor adjustments. there should be a piece of metal that is kinda shaped like a pie slice with the narrow end bent into an offset and a bunch of holes drilled into the outer area of the big end. that part fits onto the throttle shaft of the carb and than you attach the cable to it with a little post and washer setup that is also in the kit.
