I have a dx crx. N I want to know witch engine wud be good to boost . I wana hit 300 or 350 hp? Any idea? Thanx 4 the suport .....

never build a car/engine to beat one car or one kind of car because there will ALWAYS be one thats faster then you

oh yeah without a doubt a b-series either all motor or boosted would blow away a lot of cars just because or the tune and power to weight ratio. it also depends on how you build it, because if you just slap a turbo on it and call it a day you would pop the engine like it's your job, but if you actualy take the time to build it and tune it, it'll be one bad car

Oh. Okay. Well I have a b18b. N im tryin to boosted it. So I was just wonderin if it wud handle good wit turbo......

Wtf is with the "<br />"?

Anyway you need low compression pistons. That motor is in the 11:1 compression ratio range when you want it in the 8.5:1 range, maybe higher but not much.

What you need to really do is a shit load of researching and reading. Search Google for turbo, building a motor for turbo and tuneing, tuneing, tuneing...the most important part of a turbo build.

lmao wow...you can turbo the stock LS and make around 250hp safely..or you can upgrade rods, bearings, and rod bolts and run higher numbers

Idk?? But thanx anyways.. Ill see if get this done by the end of this year.

hahaha.. what??!?

a b18b is in the 9.2:1 range.. lol..

b16s dont even have that high of compression ratio..
Ahh shit, I was thinking of the JDM B18C version. I assumed it was JDM because he didn't say "B1".

You're right Cal, OBD1 conversion and a chipped P28 ECU or Hondata ECU.

Fuck it, I'll stick to reading and not posting.
