have you been following riceracerex's build...this block is perfect for being built...the rust and the seasoning actually makes it stronger...

Nope I havent, but I will have to check it out.

I think the rust gives it character :)

in his first post he said JG PnP head, = professionally ground and flow tested. you really cannot accurately do it yourself.

I think you will be very impresed with this setup i just dynoed a ls with p73 pistons and stock head/valvetrain it made 160hp 175tq on a mustang dyno this was with out any kind of tuning besides a set of 308cc injectors he just wanted to know what it made and make sure the afr wasnt to lean

wow thats great! I know a set of big cams and a P&P head will get at least 20 more HP, my goal is 200. If not then Ill just slap on my v-tec head with a P&P and big cams.

I want to be N/A but nitrous might be another route.

I would too, but I dont have 1k to build it lol This head flows just like a Vtec head. So with a big set of cams I can make good top end power like I would with a Vtec head. Plus It will be cheaper to tune.

Anyone on here tried the Toda Cams? The Vtec Killer cams I have been hearing about...
way to thread jack and yes i have tuned a 15:1 2.2L on methanol they are nice cams not for a street car must have a properly designed engine for these to work properly

No entensions on thread jacking, just curious and to see what kind of cams may work for this build. That's amazing high compression btw.
