windows azure is definitely going that way. It allows for cheaper computers, cheaper licenses and more control over first party fraud (cracked and hacked versions of software).

I'd really like to know why no one told me about chrome being available (even as beta) for linux. I found out wednesday and i almost shit myself when i saw how fast it was compared to firefox.

MS is moving that way with consumer and workstation machines after windows 7... subscription based OS and applications, all your data accessible anywhere stored up in the internet cloud.
