Well now that I have dome dpfi to mpfi I decided to pull my Rebuilt D16A6 and set a B18A1 in. I got a complete 91 Integra and want to utilize any upgrades I can exchange from it to my CRX. My question is what exactly do I need to do to use the front brake setup from the 91 teg Ls? I have googled, Bing'd, Asked, and yahood to find conflicting information on the swap. I pretty much need the front setup to run teggy axles for my B18 right? The information for the rear swap is a no brainer. Easy exchange. Can someone please help me?

is your civic a Si or is it a 4 door? The ex, STD, and Si i beleve will fit the axles needed for the swap. I just put a B18a1 in my ex 4 door, and the teggie axles fit right in no problems.

I failed to mention thats a 91 CRX. Not sure if its a HF or standard. I do know I had to put HF axles in it. The splines in the spindle are very small. I tried to slide a 91 teggy axle in and it was to big for it. So now I know I have to swap something into the front to make fitment for the teggy axles. I need to know what configuration of parts do I need to make this right.

When I bought this crx it was completely stripped down. Everything came in boxes.I was told it was a 91 HF. While assembling I only found a DX engine harness. Then I had to run HF axles. did a dpfi to mpfi swap to run my d16a6. I have everything needed to get my B18a1 in. the only problem is the axles. I have a complete 91 teg to use whatever to make this car right.

you need the B-series tansmission & intermediate shaft, 90-93 Integra axles, mount kit (like Hasport) and shift linkage (like Hasport) - if your CRX is the HF model, you will need to swap the knuckles/hubs for ones from a 88-91DX/Si/LX/EX - whatever the model,

If you had to do the dpfi to mpfi conversion it is a DX. The HF's are already MPFI. Also, the DX harness shock tower plugs are different sizes than the ones found on the Si and HF so you wouldn't be able to use the DX harness in either the Si or HF unless you changed out the harness that also goes through the firewall so the shock tower plugs will match. I do find it weird that you had to use HF axles though.

And just for clarification, the HF and Civic Hatch STD are the ones with the smaller knuckles. All the other models are the same and will accept B-Series axles.

I found it wierd as well. Maybe the previous owner swapped out he intire harness on this HF for a dx. But now Im stuck at the front knockles. Can I use the 91 teggy knuckles? and what combination for parts do I need to make it fit right. I have read so many stories of using the teggy knuckle and crx control arms. Or teggy knuckle-lower control arm and crx upper from the crx. I also read camber kit. Some say it swaps cleanly. I dont know. If I just start swapping parts around it could take me a day to figure out it doesnt work at all and then im down two cars. Im currently driving the 91 teg while the crx rests waiting for the teggy brakes and engine. I want to get it all done in one day. That and I only have the two hoists for one day.
