ok, my car insurance is due on the 15th of this month.. which sucks because christmas is right around the corner.. i have Geico and was wondering if anyone knew if i'd be able to pay it Jan. 1st and whats gonna happen if i do... because i dont really have the cash for it right now because i pay 6 months at a time.. i'm sure i can dig it up, but x-mas is gonna blow a hard one if i do..

thoughts?
 
have you called them yet? I know I have a different company but they were willing to work with me to extend the due date once before
 
maybe i'll try that.. seeing that its christmas time its very likely they might do that... thanks for the suggestion.. if it works.. +rep.. lol
 
Yeah.. You'll be fine. Worst case is they'll ask you to pay that month and pick up the other 5 next month.. But I'm willing to bet they let it slide being that you pay a half a year at a time
 
they will take care of you. they might even let you just float the payment date for it.

i'm really surprised you didn't just call them first. lol

like i said in your other thread, "10 years delaying getting shit done by posting about it on hondawap first".
 
Call em and ask/give them the heads up on the situation. If I miss a payment State Farm will just send me a letter saying "bitch pay us or your shit'll lapse" the next month. I'm sure they'll be fine with letting you pay a little later.
 
just got off the phone.. made a payment of $50 and got the rest extended till the 1st.. and after updating my info my premium went down $20.. woot!
 
Don't postpone it too long, or the Don will send Guido over to break your knees. Everybody's gotta pay their protection money sooner or later.
