ok so im putting an h22a into a 92 eg and the clutch was fine before i took the old motor out. when i put the H in i ran the eg clutch line to the h slave cylinder and bled the lines. i ended up using a whole bottle of fluid and doing it correctly still no pressure whatsoever. I dont think it could be the master cyl because it was working before i did the swap.... lmk if u have any suggestions

you check inside by the clutch pedal for leaks. the mast cyl can leak into the floor board by teh pedals. secondary seal going bad will cause that. just a suggestion seen it happen b4, has happen to me. are u getting any fluid to come out of the bleed screw on the slave cyl when u the clutch pedal is pressed?

i agree x2

if your bleeder is pumping out clear fluid i suggest taking about 5 feet of rubber hose and put one end on the bleeder, and the other back in the reservoir. then pump your clutch slowly to cycle the fluid, this may make it a little dirty, but you will be amazed at the amount of bubbles coming out.

don't do this please.

is there a reason why?

I thought that it was kinda obvious. You don't want to get any dirt into your clutch master cylinder, so your best bet is to only pour new clean brake fluid into it. Also brake fluid is cheap.. much cheaper that replacing a master or slave cylinder, so there really isn't any point to trying to save it in the first place.

im pretty sure your missing the point. im assuming there is clean fluid in it already, this process removes all bubbles.
