Not sure if this was ask before or not but im nervous dont want to mess anything up.so heres the nooby question.....

I just pulled my motor out and planning on rebuilding it wit all high performance parts but as of rite now the motor is mad fukken dirty, and i mean dirty!. So question is can i soak the whole motor up wit like acid or engine degreeser and wen done cleaning can i just throw water on it, plus i took the tranny of the motor already and the inside got mad dirt but other then the dirt it looks fine....so is it ok to soak dat shit up or not..or i have to be careful on certain parts, please let me kno cuz i want to start the cleaning asap.....thanks in advance and sorry for the long story

i know when i had my head rebuilt after a blown headgasket.... it was just part of the process they did.. so not sure how much it costs

anybody ever took the motor out then attempt to remove the crank pulley bolt......cuz i did so is it possible to remove it.......other than the special tools is there other method to removing that bolt?....i cant use the starter.....like i said the motor is already out the car...let me kno

use a 2 inch nut from flat to flat to put into the hex slot, then put an adjustable on that and stick a power handle and a socket the bolt

engine shampoo.. it is aright to soak an engine. just make sure the distributor is coverd and all hoses and passage ways into the engine are plugged. spray it with engine shampoo, let it sit for a bit, then pressure wash it.

where do i get engine shampoo at? or u meant engine degreaser ?
so how about the tranny can i soak it up with the gears still inside the tranny???

If you have a portable pressure washer and engine shampoo the job is soo easy. I mean engine shampoo, you can find it almost anywhere. Sorry for the late post. Lol you prolly already did this job.
