ok here is the deal.... i got a 94 civic hatch, d16z6,p28..... i have already changed the headgasket twice, first cuz it had an exterior oil leak, and then i had to redo it cuz i caught water in the oil and i cant get it to stop mixing coolant and oil!!!!! when i open the rad cap i see constant bubbles (from combustion) . where do i go from here??? i have no idea what to do.....:confused:
 
Your head is prolly warped from being overheated. Either get it resurfaced or find a good, used one.
 
exactly what 99sidude said, if it was overheated severely, it will warp your head, and even though u put new HG and head bolts/ ARP head studs, it could still leak. i'd pull the head and check it like your manual suggests for flatness. if its bad, bring it to get decked flat. Question, did u re-use your stock head bolts?
 
You can take your head to a machine shop and they can pressure test it for cracks, and let you know if it's any good. Get it resurfaced while you're at it if it is any good. You could of cracked a cylinder as well, but I doubt it.
 
I agree with the other guys...head is most likely warped or cracked...if its just a slight warp, you can have the head shaved, or get yourself another one for a few hundred bucks...good luck
 
Yea the head is worped. Put a strate edge on bottom of the head diagnoly from top to bottum and look for aney light the head serfas and the strategy edge if there is light use a Fuller Gage and see how mouch it is worped i think .007 or. 008 is Max. I it is at Max the head is junk and do the same to the top of the block and then get them reserfesd and always replace the head bolts wen the head gesket gos like that the head bolts strech. Wen u put it back together tork them down and then get the car to tempicher and then retourk the last step to make shout the head seats properly

machine shop will magnaflux to check for cracks not pressure test.

to the OP, like most others have stated, head is prolly warped.
 
Yea I know I can't spell . Butt y send the money to presher test the head if it is worped enough the head is junk and if the motor got that hot to crack the head he's got to look over the whole motor
