SOHC VTEC at its best
so i got everything running perfect finally on my car. it pulls hard as fuck. only problem is, after about 5200rpm in 3rd gear pulling 9psi, the boost starts to wobble back and forth closer to 10 psi then it hitss 11psi and of course the map freaks out. now it did alot colder here the temp dropped alot and i set my boost controller during the summer. could that be causing my creep? also, my WG source line comes form my turbo to WG, but i have a plastic vaccuum line connector in the middle of it. could boost be leaking out of there and causing it to creep? the car pulls fine in 1st and 2nd, thought they go by too fast and i bounce off the limiter haha.

The Go-Autoworks cast manifold:

....ick

is it a real or fake tial is the guestion to ask then i guess

its a real tial. also, if a 1/8 flare fitting fits fine into my oil feed line, what -AN fitting size would i need? i'm trying to get a dang oil restrictor and idk if its -4 or -3.

the manifold is the problem. it basically gets 90% of its reading from 1 runner, not all 4.

The only way to really fix this is to get a manifold that isn't a 1982 design.

and -3 is the correct feed line size... not sure that it will fit your connectoe though.

honestly, idk if it was boost creep and my ecu freaking out bc of a stock MAP sensor OR if i hit the rev limiter. it hasn't done it since this one time.

might've had a lose vac line or something too...

well its doing it again. i'm thinking there is a small leak where the banjo fitting screws into the wastegate. OR that the rush of additional air when the vtec hits could make it slow to respond. i'm thinking the banjo fitting going into the wastegate.

The mani should be"ok" for 9-10psi boost.
Completely irrelevant, but ok.
might've had a lose vac line or something too...
My first vote is this.

Check everything for leaks and if everything checks out okay..
...or it's the manifold
.. then this is the problem.

Look into something nicer anyway, especially if you are looking to make decent power.

for right now i'm fine with this cast manifold. what i would like to do is get a spare z6 block and go vitara/eagle and then upgrade to a mini ram or full ram. and as far as the vacuum lines go, which would would i check? the one going from the turbo pressure nipple to the wastegate, the line for its measurement?
