Anyone else here into it? I just got back from my first outing of the year. Went to Holiday Valley in western NY for the day. I had a blast and came back in one piece.... This year I'm hoping to either do a long weekend trip out west to the resorts Summit County, CO, or stay closer and drive out to Okemo or Killington. I'm also in the market for some new skies. My Head cyber x44's are on their 8th season and their last legs. Any recommendations for a good all mountain ski?

Yup been snowboarding for almost 20 years now (crap, i'm old..). I'm about 3 hours away from the Tahoe resorts. I need to get out this season already!

I've been snowboarding for about 8 years now. I live pretty close to some decent mountains but the snow has been crap so far this year.

Thought I'd post what I'm riding too, Lib Tech T Rice pro with some burton customs I picked up on the cheap a couple years ago. I love the lib tech.

I've heard nothing but great things about the lib tech's. I have a Rossignal now and it is not that good.

I do have flow bindings which i love!

boarding started in the early 90s..... so yeah, its been about 20 years now. damn.

i'm a boarder... poorly, and i haven't gone in a few years. def need to get out there this year.

Boarder, haven't had the money to go play in the snow yet this year. :(

I bought Flows last year and I love them too. So easy, so stiff, and super tight. It makes for a much more enjoyable ride than my old Burton freestyles lol

yeah I love mine. It's got curved edges (I believe lib tech calls it "magna traction") to give some extra traction on the icy stuff. Apparently they came up with the idea while looking at a French fry at some fast food joint.

i haven't boarded in at least 9 yrs, since i sold my board/bindings.. but before that i had rode for about 5 yrs... itching to get back out there and give it a shot again.. i'll be damn rusty for sure.. lol

had a Burton Custom 160 board and Burton freestyle bindings.. freestyle boots too.. was a very nice setup... but came upon hard times and needed the cash

I think it would be fun, but I can't go for two reasons. I hate the cold, and Indiana is as flat as paris hilton.

i'd be in a t-shirt most of the time, lol.. i'd start out wearing a jacket and it'd come off about 1/3 way through the day(once the sun really came out), cuz i'd start sweating.. luckily i had skateboarded for 10 yrs prior so i knew my way around on a board and didnt fall much..

I had a skateboard, I never really got into it. I was better at inline rollerblading. Anyway, if I can find someone who knows what they're doing and I have vacation time I'd like to go once. Other than that, I plan on doing some more kayaking next summer. That was really fun.

yes B16, it is indeed cold in Indiana

i don't believe that was his point...

im pretty sure he was getting at the fact that he does not like being outside in the cold... and as a side note he also referenced the general topography of Indiana, and its lack of any hills that would make for a decent hill to ski/board on, comparing it to the flatness of Paris Hilton's boob lacking chest

Yes, I know its cold in Indiana; I've seen Christmas Story a million times. lol

Tow behind a truck?

My Burton board with Flow bindings got stolen right off my porch by the neighbor's foster kid. The neighbor had sent the kid back before I figured out he did it.

Fuckin thieves.

Everyone rocks the flows these days. Super legit for quick entrance and whatnot.

At that. I ski. I lived 60 minutes from Mt. Baker. See world record snow holder. Serious serious deep snow every season and tons of backcountry and drops.

But I now live 2 hours from there or an hr from other local spots. I'm a fan of the pow pow, so I'm a fair weather skier mostly because of the wet conditions we have once in a while.

I'm rocking some fischer kehua's and head MOJO boots. Definitely a stellar setup but 1500 bucks. :(

Love snowboarding more than any other activity.

- Have a season pass to Camel Back this year.
- Weekend at Whiteface MLK weekend.
- 3-time pass to Mountain Creek.

I was actually at Creek today. Not the best of conditions, but a fun day. Did jack up my wrist today though. Didn't land every jump if you know what I mean. Shit hurts. Icing it now.

I love sliding across a box or getting some nice air while I grab the board.

Love bummin' dudes more than any other activity.

I love sliding into some ass or getting some nice head while I grab the cock.

Just so you know, this is how I translated what you wrote. Had to share it with the world...
