First, sorry if its in the wrong section.. Not for sale, but not a technical question either.

Anyway, my parents have my old 92' LS and its been sitting for a while because I didnt have time to mess with it. But the other day this kid wanted to buy it and the parents didnt know what the fair price for it was.

Its a salvage title and the body is in decent shape. a 3-4in dent on the passenger side door and on the hatchback trunk. It has a kit, but paint is rubbing off because of the urethane. It also has shave moldings, intake, exedy clutch (their stage 2 or whatever, not a puck design) and an OEM koyo raditor. Oh yeah and the old LS mesh style wheels.

The car runs just needs, new tires and a right cv joint.

I was thinking around $1000? What do you guys think?

IMO, nothing with a salvage title is worth more than $500. if you can get 1000, go for it.

I'd say no more than a grand. Some people could car less that it has a salvage title. Depending on why it does of course.

Free markets for the win. Dont let socialism tell you otherwise.

The buyer's idea of "fair" is the lowest amt of money he can bend you to accept.

Your idea of "fair" should be the highest amt of money you can collect on the car. Spruce it up, pop out the dents and sell-sell-sell.

It was funny the first time klyph but I think it's starting to wear thin. :p

only Fi-dorra, make you horra G.I.

anyway, thanks for the input guys.

the kid felt like a flake and i was right, didnt show up. so ill probably end up getting a set of used tires and sticking in a battery and driving it around as a beater until my brother comes and picks it up.
