I got a new boat today! Its a 21ft Offshore with a 200hp Evinrude Ocean Pro. Its in beautiful shape, pretty much everything is new. Its a big upgrade from my old 16ft boat. Cant wait to get out and catch some fish in this thing. Im just excited and thought i would share :D

i plan on testing both its fishing and bikini-clad girl holding capabilities as soon as possible :)

thanks! im loving the boat, been out on two short trips with it now. it rides great, it handled 3-4 foot seas today surprisingly well. got a new prop on it already too (it had the wrong pitch when i bought it). it ran 44mph at 5500rpm with a pretty heavy load today, on a 1ft chop in the intercoastal. i bet itll go near 50 and close to 6k rpm with a light load.

that houseboat is nice and all, but id rather have a 70+ft sportfisher to live on :) you know, like a viking or hatteras or something. you ever see the inside of those things? its crazy nice.

The travel channel had fantastic houseboats on the other night, And some of them were damn crazy.

I wish I had a few million to toss at bs.

Major congrats on the boat, mang! Looks real nice. How far out do you normally go and out of which inlet?

im right near the palm beach inlet, and usually fish somewhere between jupiter and west palm. usually there is no need to go out past 200ft or so, seems like i catch more fish between 80-120 than any other depth. i really want to get into some sailfish this winter, they have been sporadic so far, and i havent caught any. also there should be a lot of sharks showing up soon off singer island. those are always fun if you want a fight.

Nice buy. I've never fished off a boat. Lets have a HS fishing trip! If I come down to visit my family in WPB this year would you take me out on the ocean? They live near 95 and Okeechobee. I'd go halves on cost. :)

yeah man, im always game to go fishing. 95 and okeechobee is like 15 mins from my house. let me know when the time gets closer and we'll go.

its doesnt cost that much to go fishing... i havent been out on this boat enough to figure out exactly how much fuel it burns yet, but im guessing $30-$60 of gas for a normal offshore fishing trip. add a little bait an ice for another $10-$20. its nice because deep water is so close here in palm beach, 1 mile out is already around 100ft.

lol yeah sailfish are usually not bigger than 6ft long, it would be catch and release anyways. the boats not that small! its 21ft with a 8ft beam, holds up to 8 people.

ive read about people catching them from kayaks.

I wish I would have met ya when I was stuck in WPB for two months 2 years ago.... who knows...I might get stuck there again...
