ok hmm cut off interesting, but inside near the lock mechanism if you can move it to the back and fourth if that does nothing then the door mechanism is broke and you will have to drill it from the inside to get it to open and replase it with a new one.

Yeah I had to drill a civic once, holy **** was that a PITA. pull the trim off the pillar inside as well as the door panel, which you've done. Then if it is accessible drill out the loop that the latch locks around. If you cannot access it, which was the case with the civic, then you first have to drill multiple holes, in a line basically, vertically so you can see the round steel bar loop. What my dad and I did was to cut that loop with a sawzaw once you have a long enough slot to get the drill through. We knew that slot would be covered by the trim when we put it back on, make sure you aren't going to mess something up you regret later.

Anyway, those loops are basically free at a salvage yard haha, and replacing that latch is a real pain but humanly possible. I was told that 1 in 1,000 or something like that of the 93 Accords had that problem, by a friend of mine who had that problem. Well good luck man.

help you fix door

k man this what you have to do, i have worked at a body shop for 5 years so i have ran into the same problem on a few civic and a bunch of other cars. you have your door panel off. the door lach is the problem, you will have to beet on the door latch till it brakes, and it is a bitch i promise . but it is the only way to do it. once you get the door open take the old lach out and trow it in the trash, go by you a new one and put it in and your proble is fixed man .should not coust you no more that 20-40 dollars depending on if you buy new or used if you need any more hellp hit me up at nadkyle@hotmail.com or myspace.com/nadkyle
