Ok so i wish i had a picture but i didnt get a chance to take one. i saw something i would call peculiar while i was in a walmart parking lot the other day, and i'm not sure what to make of it. i imagine it was legit.. but i dunno.

basically i saw this guy in a stock looking cavalier driving through the parking lot from one end to the other. i noticed what appeared to be those queer looking m3 type ricey mirrors mounted on his hood. at first i was like wow seriously, you have 4 side view mirrors on that car lol. then he comes up the next row of cars in the lot and i see him pass right in front of me. i realized that they were not mirrors but in fact some fancy looking eliptical shaped cameras with wires going into the wiper cowl. the cameras opposed eachother pointing toward the cars in the rows. as far as i can tell he must have been taking a video with them because i never saw him stop to take a picture.

anybody seen anything like that before?

sounds like somebody was on a scouting trip.
probably going to use the video to take the license info off of a car that they like to run the tags and get personal info, and knowledge of where the car is parked.

They have been working on a program that pulls up license plates and scans the info for fake plates, warrants that the driver might have, registration validity, etc... Could have just been out recording data for another test run.

hmmm interesting. i just figured that if it was something legit that those cameras would have been mounted to a police car.. i thought it looked suspicious as hell and other people in the lot near me were like what the hell was that all about lol.

The local police in my area have video cameras that scan license plates, they look these up in a database for unpaid taxes, tickets, etc....

Ever used Google Street view? This is the same kind of stuff that Google uses. There are lots of legit reasons for duing what he was doing. And if he was up to no good do you think the cameras would have been mounted like that? I mean its possible but not very likely.

That's exactly what came to my mind as well...they were probably recording for Google Street View...

well i figured it must have been legit, but at the time i hadn't the slightest idea what he might have been doing. why the hell would google street view need to see every row of a walmart parking lot though lol

it was me..i was filming looking for milfs..
