I recently got some Kelford 272 cams while getting timing belt changed along with some ARP head studs. Tuned on E85 running around 26psi on the stock turbo.

Mods:
Kelford 272's
Generic open air filter
Tanabe 2.75" down pipe
3" test pipe
3" custom Apexi noir cat back
Rc 1000 cc injectors
ECU flash tune on E85

366whp and 349wtq on a Mustang dyno. :)

how did you run on a stang dyno?? they have them for awd?

Correct, Mustang is a manufacture of Dynometers which create load against the drivetrain. I mention it specifically because Honda's are more used to running on Dynojets which read about 1.15-1.17 times higher.. So DJ HP would be more like 420whp. What a magic number!? :)

i realise they make AWD dynos swift motorsports has one..i thought he used a RWD dyno for his AWD car..thanx for clearing up the manufacturer lol

lol @ a RWD dyno. They have either a two-wheel or all-wheel dynos, not FWD, RWD and AWD.:D

Nice! So you should be over 500 at the crank then right? That's awesome on the stock turbo. Did you do any tuning with gas, or does the car never see gas?

The car never sees gas. :) I did have him put a 91 octane map on the 2nd half of the ROM in the ECU in case I need to switch on emergency (I wired a toggle switch into the ECU to access the 2nd half of the ROM for a separate map). The open source community has done amazing things with the stock Evo ECU. They're working on integrating the GM ethanol sensor into the ecu to have dynamic mapping based on ethanol content. That is the future! :)

We only have 3 gas stations with E85 in my area, so it can get tight sometimes. The reward of so much more HP and chaper $$ per gallon makes it worth it. :)

It's cheaper in Cali? Amazing...

The dynamic mixing sounds pretty badass. I wonder if I could configure a MegaSquirt setup to do that.

probably. you can configure mega squirt and fast to make toast for you if you wanted it to.

E85 goes for about $2.60 a gallon right now. Not bad for 105 octane that runs like its C16. :)

Sweet. Will it butter it too?

That wouldn't be too bad- if I could find a station that carried it around here.

damn wish i could even find it here..gotta question..would e-85 be safe for just a relatively stock d16z6??
has intake,header,and exhaust..

Dont you have to change your fuel lines and various intake components to parts that can handle the alcohol corrosion?
