so i have a sol with 90xxxmi auto(d15). its blown atleast 2 head gaskets(1 since ive had it) and im lookin to get up and running again.
main ? is how imparitive is it to use new head studs? when i got the car i did the hg with help from machanic friend and we reused the head studs and a few mo later hg popped again. would new studs have prevented this?
at first we thought the previous owner over heated it to the point that made it pop. i dont know y it blew wen they had it. heat was the only think i could think of. and when we redid the hg we thought that the head might b warped. but went for it anyway. and then it blew. so #1 how hard is it to warp a head(n/a auto d15) and #2 do u have to get the head milled to fix it. or can i get a thicker hg and sandwich out the warp?
