okay ive been swapping stuff in and out of my car,dpfi-mpfi-dpfi and back to mpfi.so i finally swapped out everything correctly,but,new problem,the biggest so far,my car was trailing smoke heavily.i took it to my friend(at the rate of 20-30mph)and he was laughing cause he knew the problem.he said that a piston ring cracked.so that explains the loss of power,oil,and gas.
now i need to swap the block.im thinking,d16a6 block with d15b7 head or d15b7 block with d16a6 head or just do a whole b7 swap.those are the only parts i have available.someone let me know what you think would be a decent swap.
 
The d16a6 block with the B7 head is called a "Mini Me" and is essentially the LS/Vtec of the D-series motors. Do some searching around the forum for "mini me" and im sure you will find tons of information on how to properly assemble it and what not. I know because i have looked into it before.

well...yes and no, it's kind of a mini me seeing you're using a different then stock head swap, but it's not a mini me because it's not a vtec head. so it's more or less a half assed or a lazy man mini me.

ahh ok. thanks for the correction, I was thinking d15b7's were vtec. what is the VTEC d15?
