Hands Off my Balls
now, i do not personnaly have the money to buy this car, but based on looks and the sweet touch screen dash, i would be all over it if i did.

only thing i would be afraid of is how the engine has been treated. i would think its gotten the piss beaten out of it.

Given how clean it looks in the pictures, and how tasteful it looks I would assume the opposite honestly. It looks like it's been pretty well-maintained compared to a good many similar examples I've seen.

Also, while it's a safe bet to assume that everyone but you flogs the shit out of their cars, sometimes it's an acceptable risk if the rest of the package looks good.

and you motherfuckers wonder why our cars arent worth shit

its because any fucking time one is for sale regardless of its appearance, condition, what is or isnt done to it, or anything else, you all start spouting off about how its owner likely beat it into the fucking ground, and anything done to it is probably hacked together by retarded chimps... then the low balling comes

:disgust1:

Hhmm I wonder hom much they would cost to send it to me, i've been trying to find another 2000 si locally since I just lovethat year si to do a K20 swap in. habe one all motor 2000 si and 1 boosted 2000 si

that dash looks horrible. :yuck:

isnt that the same Jensen turboimage has?

actually looks like a really good deal for the right buyer. hell, if i needed a car, i would consider it.

It's just a 10 year old economy car without the mileage listed. With low miles, sure it might be worth that price, but I highly doubt it's a low mileage car.

Odometer says 179k. I bought mine with around that many miles. Car was CLEAN. Engine compartment was STOCK and also very clean. Didnt have one mod aside from a no name muffler. looked like it had been well taken care of and babied... DROPPED A VALVE A MONTH LATER. And no, I wasnt pushing it, hard. The problem isnt low ballers. The problem is you never can tell. You can always polish a turd and pass it off as gold. Doesnt change the fact that sooner or later it will still go to shit!

AMEN.

anyways, i wasnt originally saying it was a peice of shit. i was simply stating that it looks as if a two year old jammed some useless gauges through the air vent.
thats all.

Yea, I dont mean to imply that I think that car is a piece of shit. It could go either way. I was refering to the "buying a used Honda" experience in general. There is no doubt in my mind that car has been beat on. The question is just "how much?" Id they didn't replace the suspension components at their necessary time, with that many miles, someone will be dropping a lot of money in the near future to get it right. (ask me how I know that one.)

How do you know that one?

Well Ive only had to replace the rear calipers/rotors, front upper control arms and lower ball joints, sway bar end links, wheel bearing, and sooner or later motor mount and shifter stabilizer bushings.

i like the part where the seller lists the SI as having a "Cold Air Intake" when it only has a short ram. i see that all the time. why cant dealers tell the difference?
