alright. i just bought a new 98 civic cx, but unfortunately it has no power steering.
i am planning to get the power steering parts from the jumkyard in my area.
can someone help me out and give me a list of the parts i need to complete the ps swap?

any input is very much appreciated. thank you.

just drive it without the P/S besides without having to turn that extra pulley frees up a little power

I somewhat agree. Is it that huge of an issue? If so, then why didn't you just buy one with power steering to begin with?

You would need the PS pump, the pump mounting bracket, a PS steering rack, the PS reservoir, the lines, and you would need the pressure switch that connects to the ECU, so that the motor doesn't stall when you turn the wheel when the car is stopped. It is a lot of work to install everything and I don't think it will be worth it in the end. I say drive it w/o PS for 2 weeks to see if you can get used to it, if you can't then go get the parts for the swap or trade for a car that has PS already.
