i dont' think it needs a lift. you wont have clearance issues as it is. plus it will be a bitch to climb into. if you get a lift, it might need bigger tires.

I think it depends on what you do with it. I personally don't like lifts, especially if you use your bed for anything. it's amazing how much that extra height sucks for loading/unloading things. If you do lift it, skip the body lift, and do it right with a nice suspension system.

thanks for all the comments guys, 3" bl is in the garage if it wont clear, ill use the sawzall tomorrow, my cousins bringing me one to use, BDN just chop your ranger enough and it'll fit, its just a ford... im gonna use this for mostly street driving but will use it in mud and stuff too

a suspension lift for a 3/4 ton IFS truck is way too much for me, i was gonna buy a rough country 6" for $1300 but it wouldnt fit on a 3/4 ton

Holy shit that bed looks huge on a standard cab! Im digging the wheels/tiresthough.

i have a friend with a 1500 chevy and a 6" rough country suspension lift on 35s. looks mean. he still has problems clearing the insides of the wheel wells when turning though. and i think it rubs on the front bumper a bit too. right on the corner

its rubbing my flares and bumper, but im gonna trim it so it will hopefully clear

The only thing you gain from a body lift is ugly ass gaps, and bumpers that look like theyre about to fall off.

If your not gunna put a suspension lift on it, just trim the fenders out.

well, it would help the fender rubbing some, and i have the brackets for the front bumper and the back one wouldnt be bad because i have the diamond plate there, but i am gonna try to just trim

Look into cranking the torsion bars in the front. You might be able to get away with raising it a little without having to hack up your fenders. It will also help get rid of some of the rake your truck has.

i already cranked it, it doesnt have a rake right now, we trimmed it and it barely clears, so we're buying a 2" block for the rear and new torsion keys for the front instead of the body lift...
