my gf drives an ecplipse gt and her "service engine soon" light is on. do i have to get a code reader to pull the codes or is there a way like in the hondas?

i know how to reset it i was just wondering about figuring out what code its throwing.

i dont think those throw a code.. happens to the teg every 3-4 months.. its just a reminder for maintenance .

take it to autozone. .if theres a code, they'll scan it for free
