97 accord swap....help plz

whats up every1, i'm new to swapping....so i need a lil help.
I have 97 accord LX and was thinking about putting a h22. I heard the h22 is the best
and simplest swap.....is it true???? thanks

What are your criteria for "best"? The H22 is a GOOD swap, and very easy, but there are obviously better motors out there...

oh ok thanks. is the swap a straight bolt in on the h22? and can i use the same tranny from my non-vtec for the h22?

Yes, and yes, although using an H22 tranny would result in better gear ratios...

Make sure you get an OBDII and not OBDI motor. It is all about compatibility between the engine, ECU, and wiring harness. You will save many headaches and lots of work/money by doing this. If you grab a 97+ Prelude engine You will be golden.
