Didn't notice another thread like this so-
I thought thread that goes "post junk found in a junkyard that is better than average junkyard junk thread" would be interesting.

I will start off with
Header and Drilled rotors from a u pull yard

I probably paid more than they were worth but I still felt like I was getting a good deal!

If anyone in west MI has a 94-97 accord the car these were on had neuspeed drop springs, I dont remember the rate tho.

Went to a pick n pull one day for fun. Pulled a J30 lsd rear diff for 50 bucks. Sold it for 300 a week later on nico club.

I've gone to a couple of junk yards and found short shifters, springs, rotors, and other stuff and either installed and loved it, or sold it and made more.

I think my best profit of all wasnt from a junk yard, I bought an exhaust muffler for a honda from a friend with a dr pepper, and sold the muffler the same night for 100.00

Wait, you traded a dr pepper for a muffler, then sold it for $100! thats like 250+ Dr peppers! Nice!
well if you do that math and lets say a Dr pepper costs $1.25. and you divide into 100.. thats 80. But you were close.

well i didnt get them.......but i thought about it. coil overs springs and a nice stainless cat back they looked new on a 90 somthing teg.

Not my S2k. This one's silver- was sold Friday night. I didn't buy it.

Clean title. :D

the pick and pull i go to has a bunch of younger guys that work there so everything that is worth anything they take and sell on the side. sucks.

There is a recycling yard I frequent.. They sell you the metal by the pound. Scored about $1500 worth of clean aluminum stock (Strips, angles, etc) for $50. Also purchased an aluminum drum major stand, retails for $750.. Had a bent wheel. Fixed it and used it as a work platform around the house for years. And then it was stolen. Paid $35 for it, I think..

There were missile boxes and casings that I am still kicking myself for not picking up. It was just the shells, no guts at all, and needed some parts to look complete, but damn, how cool would it be to have a missile hanging from the shop roof??

I also passed up brand new 6 foot floor mount network racks. About a dozen of them.. Would have paid $22 each for complete racks.. Couldn't ebay em though, shipping was cost prohibitive. Still should have picked up a couple.
