I have searched and searched and searched!!! Nothing is found on how to put a brake caliper back together.

I have a 1993 Civic Automatic 1.5l. coupe. I need to see where these seals go. I thought it would be easier than this. But I guess not....I googled and I searched forums. Either i am not picking the right keywords or no one has posted it!!

Does anyone have one they can post up.?

If you can't figure out how to replace a seal in a caliper, you need to take it to a shop and have it done right the first time. Brakes aren't something you want to have an 'I think I did it right' scenario.

Take them to someone, pay them to fix it, watch how they do it, and LEARN.

If you don't have anything to contribute to the thread.......don't reply to it....

All i need is what I requested.....I don't need to pay someone 50-80 dollars just to put seals in....Im very capable of doing this on my own...hence the reason I request this image.

If we provide you with a brake caliper picture will you provide us with a picture of your car when you wreck it?

Also, it seems like there are a lot of people coming around lately trying to dictate who can post in "their" thread. This is the internet, anyone can post anything they want, anywhere.

Creating a thread doesn't make you the fucking King.

Get a Haynes manual and GTFO... :shrug2:
Plan out it, I actually have it on its way. Thanks :D

apparently you aren't, if you had to post a thread to ask for help

Listen, why do we have forums? Why did anyone start up a forum? Was it so people had to run to a 50-80 dollar an hour shop to fix every little thing wrong with their car? Or was it so people could learn and/or teach about cars? Forums are the best tools for average people to learn from others. Share what you know....and learn what you don't know. I too own an automotive forum, and I actually welcome people asking for great information to add to the forums. I'm pretty sure the owner of this forum didn't start this forum, so people like you guys can flame bash learning members. I am not trying to tell who can or can not post in my threads, but when you are being a jackass and have no real info to share, i see it best fit you just don't reply. I merely forgot which seals go where on the mounting bracket of this caliper. They all look similar and I wanted to be sure on their location.

If you have ratard! comments, please PM them to me instead of flooding this thread. I'm also sure the owner would be thankful for that.

We've had a huge influx of asshats lately. Its getting old. You took offense to a reasonable response from a regular and seemed to be just another. The backlash was bound to happen.

Are you serious? asshat? Because I ask a reasonable request...that makes me an asshat? This is a forum for people to learn from. A forum for people to teach others. It says Hondaswap.com not Bashthenewbs.com
So because I could of used some assistance in resealing this caliper....that makes me in the wrong? I didn't take offense to anything..lmao...I spoke my opinion just like you guys did to my OP....so why am i in the wrong and you guys aren't?

No worries. Mods can close this now and Ill take my business to a different forum. Thanks for the help.

i dont see a problem here guys.. its a legitimate question..

but since the OP requested it be locked.. its :locked:
