on a 1995 honda civic 1.5L we got all the bolts off and took the copper pin out but we dont know how to remove it from the hub what do we need to do

It's whatever connects the lower control arm to the hub I need to get the arm off so I can pull the old bearings and replace them like I said we pulled out the cotter pin and we can't seem to get the arm off I need to get this fixed and aligned asap

So you took the bolt and cotter pin off right? So it should be the ball joint that won't come out. It looks like a thick ass pin with a ball on the end with threads on the tip( from where the bolt was) if what I'm saying is what your dealing with then take a hammer and bang the crap outta the lower control arm where the ball joint sits in. ( the hole in the end of the control arm)

I have a painless way to get these out, I just cant explain it lol

It usually takes me 10 min to swap out a axle.

put the nut on partially to protect the threads, put a floor jack under the ball joint and jack it up by the ball joint bolt till it almost lifts the car off the jack stands, then hit the side of the lca. works every time for me, itll take less than a minute to pop out.

Yes do that but instead of hitting it, jam a chisel or wedge in between the ball joint and lca and drop the jack, the ball joint should pop right out.

Pickle fork ftw. (aka ball joint separator) $8ish at your local auto parts shop.

It tears up the rubber, but you're replacing it anyway.

He's only replacing the lower control arm!! i would have recomended that if he was replacing the ball joints. they're a last resort.
