How about you try to be more clear about what you're saying. All you said was the "A-series is garbage, go with the B-series". I guarantee you, 99% of people would read that comment and think you were referring to the A-series engines that came in some of the older Accords versus the B-series engines found in many newer Hondas (B16, B18B, B18C, etc.).
If you had said, "The B18A is garbage, go with a B18B instead", that would have been much easier to understand. And, if you want to take this further, you're just plain wrong. The letters PRIOR TO the numbers are the engine series, and the letters AFTER the numbers are the model (i.e., a B18A is a B-series engine, A model), so really you're just plain wrong here.
And no, the B18B isn't really that much better then the B18A. It flows a little better (which accounts for the 10 extra horses) and it's OBD1, but that's pretty much the only difference. Either of them are fine starting points for an engine build.
Anything else you'd like to disagree with?
