what is this?! intake manifold help.

Well i bought a new intake manifold assuming i had the wrong one, but my new intake does not have a spot to mount this ... i have no clue what it is, do you need it for a b18a1 in a 93 integra?

its the valve thingy with the plug hanging off of it.

and what originally made me thing i had the wrong manifold is this port on the back of the manifold that seemed to have no purpose for being there ...

its the one with the screw in it right now, I never could figure out where it went.

I found another picture online and it looks like yours a B18A intake manifold

in the first picture, that 'thingy' is the EGR valve - came on automatic transmission equipped cars - the extra vacuum port on the back of the manifold is also for the automatic

ooh ok, so there is a different in the intake manifolds between standard and auto?? i didnt know this.

do you know where the vacume port on the back is supposed to rout to?

I found another picture online and it looks like yours a B18A intake manifold

yeah but all the vacumme routing diagrams i find dont have that valve or the output in the back ... and my car is an obd1 not obd0

alright thanks! its starting to make more sense. but im still lost because the routing for the automatic still isnt showing where the hose i have closed off goes.

the one circled in blue according to the diagram doesnt exist?!

or am i missing something?!

is there a difference in the obd0 and obd1 manifolds?
