And moving to the mailroom because the call center director overbooked the building and needs all the room he can get to add cubicles and squeeze people in.

That is all.

Next up: Payroll will finally stop your direct deposit. Lumburgh will be over to collect his red swingline as well.

Better start lookin, Milton.

You'd think I had some control over it because, oh I dunno, I run the facilities dept and determine seating. He asked my boss though and he's the one who suggested the mail room. Got to try to find somewhere else but there honestly isn't much more space to choose from.

The engineering office/workshop in the lower level might actually be better, I'm down there all the time anyway.

pics of office?

Just snapped this with the ID card camera. I'm backed up against the opposite corner wall/door.

It's not a private office, I'm in the middle seat out of 3. Two other facilities people sit on either side, but they were both just about to leave the company; I would have had it all to myself.:mad:

That is not an office. I've seen sweatshops that give their employees more workspace.

You should see the 4ft x 4ft death traps we give the call center people.

Once the other two folks left, I was going to have the dividers pulled to give me all that space. :(

i think that room is about the size of my office
damn man, they seriously need to think about getting more space
they own or rent/lease?

pwnt. Ever since the bar next door expanded and built a second story my window over looks their roof, but my real office is sitting outside in the parking space in front of the building anyway. :)

Leased, about 160,000GSF and we have the whole building but we're already packed in like sardines. Lease was just renewed, even in this market they couldn't find anything cheaper than staying put, after considering move costs and downtime.

anyone else think this should turn into 'post your work space'?

I'll go first. Just snapped this like 5 seconds ago.

I'm planning on eventually switching desks for more deskspace, and yes it's a minor mess... better than it was last week though.
