Post in the proper forum section. Unless you're selling or buying parts this is not the place for tech.

ok, so the car will crank over but will not start.
you need three things to start a vehicle.
1) correct timing
2) fuel
3) spark
if you have these three things, your car will start.

the best way to go about it is this:
1) check to see if you are getting spark. get a long screwdriver or a piece of metal, and shove one end inside a spark plug wire. touch the other end to the ground on your valve cover. try to start the car. if theres a spark, youre good. if not, then you have a spark issue.

2) check for fuel. easiest way to do this is to just pull the line from the fuel filter to fuel rail off and stick the end of it in a water bottle/bucket. try starting the car. if fuel comes out, then youre good. if not, then youve got an issue with fuel.

3) check for fuel at the injector. pull one injector out (but keep the end of it in the fuel rail) and crank it over. if you don't have fuel there then you know that the problem is most likely electrical because the injectors aren't functioning.

4) after youve done all that, you can check to be sure the timing is on. pull the timing belt cover and turn the engine over to TDC on cyl #1. the hash mark on your crank pulley should be lined up with the arrow on the oil pump/lower timing cover. the cam gear should be pointed almost straight up where it is marked "up" (maybe slightly forward due to how the engine sits in the bay).

if you do all this correctly, you should be able to isolate your problem.
download bonsai buddy and install it to your ECU's rom. It's located in the passenger kick panel.
??? dont be a dick. hes asking a legitimate question here.
