so, im pulling a B18 out of a 1990-1993 acura inegra to swap in my hatch.. i want to know if ot will slip right in my bay or if i have to do modifications to it.

it should fit wo any mods to the body or anything. u will have to change wiring harness and ecu and i think u will have to change motor mounts... not sure on that though

90-93 covers two different OBD's so you are not specific enough.

Don't forget the shift linkage. You also need a hydraulic clutch line transmission and the one you are getting is most likely cable. Your wiring harness (in the Civic) will work best. Just make sure you have (at least) an OBD1 Distributor, Alternator. I would also make sure you have a complete OBD1 intake manifold too (with injectors and rails, TB, etc) Plus a OBD1 ECU for an LS motor.

But if its a 92-93 B18A....it will all be OBD1 already. And once you know everything on the long block is OBD1 compliant, your harness in the hatch will plug right up.

I suggest you look into new b series axles or at least re-build before you install them. New timing belt, tensioner, water pump...blah blah blah

keep the motor, but sell the mounts and tranny, and buy 94-00 b series mount, and find a hydraulic b series tranny and your set.

You are neglecting to ackowledge the wiring and OBD issues that may be present. Please do not simplify the swap and give incorrect info. If its a 90-91 (OBD0) Distributors and Alternators are different for sure...plus I 'think' the injectors need to be OBD1 too.
