At least you get multi tasking I guess... I mean sure its 5 years after the fact but better late than never I suppose. I just do not understand Jobs logic.
 
you are getting multitasking because it makes it easier for them to run ads.... thats it
 
Read through it all... looking forward to it. Being able to use Pandora in the background with other things running is actually a pretty big deal to me.
 
i dont really care for ads or multitasking, and i use the ipod function, not streaming, but im liking the little updates to the OS.
 
I have too much music in too many disorganized places to fit it all onto 16GB much less 200GB, so streaming is where it's at for me, especially at work when I'm plugged in to a power line. Getting calls and having to kill the app really sucks.

Huh...my Palm Pre already does that - but everyone that owns an IPhone I know says it can multitask. Liars.
 
unlock it > backgrounder app > done
sure its a PITA
but works for me :shrug2:
 
Droid has had it so I guess apple had to get around to adding it.
 
Just goes to show how effective the Apple marketing machine is. Convincing 5 million people that an expensive and crippled phone is a must have item.

nah, it was just nicer than what i had at the time. and i always end up messing with my phones, so a jailbreak was a must.
