01 h22 in a 93 prelude will it work from obd1-obd2

hey its the neg rep guy lol. i ahve a serious question without any remarks to be made. i have a buddy who like me has a bad knock in there h23a1 he has a prelude just like mine its a 93. he wants to knw if an h22 of and 01 prelude with work in his 93 prelude? does anyone know what will have to be done to get it to work or will it not work at all i need this info please. thanks

i'll be somewhat help full you will need to convert the motor back to the OBD1. For this you will need i believe a obd1 dizzy from an H22, The ecu from an h22 from 93-96... im pritty sure that most everything... i mite be mistaken and there mite be more lol... or u can just get an obd1 -2 converter between your car and the ecu

there is also a crank sensor and immobalizer issue that will need to be addressed

why not just get an obdI motor?

my motor is knocking right now and i dont really have time to sit thre and buy and look for another motor. The ob2 motor is out of a 01 prelude. i have a 93 prelude with h23a1. and i need a car running to get back and forth to school every day. so
