YEEEEAAHHHHH
I don't follow music as hardcore as some people on here do - but when an album sticks out among the mediocre crap in the mainstream as much as this one, I felt it deserved some attention. Saw it on iTunes, gave it a quick preview and then bought it on Amazon music.

Basically, the album is titled Slash - featuring Slash. But that not really the point of the album. Each song is a great collaboration with the most varied list I've seen on a rock album.
Some artists include Chris Cornell, Kid Rock, Ozzy, Ian Astbury from the Cult, Lenny from Motorhead, Andrew Stockdale from Wolfmother. Iggy Pop and Myles Kennedy. I originally didn't recognize the name, but I guess he headed up Alterbridge and was a guitarist for one of Slashes side projects. He definately has a different sound on this album as I did not like Alterbridge.

One of the shockers on this CD was Adam Levine. I always thought he had a good voice (no homo) - as he is the lead singer in Maroon 5. He does a darker semi-acoustic song halfway through the album and it is very good.

I have really picky taste in music, but this has been the first album I've actually listened too in a while and enjoyed the whole list of tracks. Gets a solid 9/10 from me.

Wow, I hate every last one of those motherfuckers except Iggy, and that's mostly because he's fucking weird.

Damn did they gangbang your girlfriend while you watched? So much anger and hostility lol

Slash is an uber sellout and will follow just about any trend he can for a line.

Chris Cornell, he's probably one of the better. Sound gardens alright. :shrug2:

Kid Rock. Every time I hear that fucking new song he has out, I'm like fuck yeah! Werewolves in London! Sweet... You mother fucker .... things does not rhyme with things you hilljack douchebag piece of shit dirty ass cracker.

Ozzy, no respect for him after he did the Ozbornes, also, he tries to front too much of a hardcore satanic attitude. It's obvious it's so fake.

Motorhead and wolfmother... too 80's metal transitional.

Idk, I'd just be more inclined to listen to something that's actually good. Like.... Jimmy Page with Neil Pert, Dave Grohle on vocals/bass or something along those lines. That's a fucking superband. Not any of this Chicken Foot (God damn Sammy Hagar, DLR FTMFW!!!!) or Them Crooked Vultures bullshit. There are 2/3 of those members in that band, and they're very dissapointingly ehhhhhh.

i absolutely hate it when people say "fuck them, they're sellouts"
its retarded, people get into the music industry to make it big and make money.

you would sellout too if somebody put a contract in front of you for millions of dollars to do what the fuck ever.
if you say otherwise you're a liar and a fool.

:concur:

i cant really say it any better than Maynard did... so ill just quote him

All you know about me is what I've sold you,
Dumb fuck
I sold out long before you ever even heard my name.
I sold my soul to make a record
Dip shit
And then you bought one.

I'm not saying any of them sold out, I'm just saying that nothing about their music interests me. I don't give a shit that Ozzy sold out to reality tv. Good for him. But that just shows that he sucks at music, which is obvious after Black Sabbath anyway.

Right, I knew I was gonna eat my words there. I didn't know he did anything with Timberland. Hell, I don't even know who timberland is. But yeah, Slash has a slut stud. that is all.

You don't like that? I think it sounds pretty great. I love One Republic and Jason Mraz...

I also love and have seen live: The Faceless, Severed Savior, Decapitated, Hate Eternal and more

So I have pretty wacky musical tastes.
