94 f20a4 swap to h22a

i have a 4th gen 2.0i prelude and i have a h22a engine ready to drop in..is it as simple as changing the ecu and engine?i really need helpdoes the wiring harness have to be changed?any help on this swap would be great

If your current engine does not have VTEC, then you'll need to add some wires to the harness, but other then that, you shouldn't need an entirely new harness assuming that the engine and the chassis come from the same OBD generation...

yes its non VTEC and they are both OBD1..does it matter if one is a p13 or p14?

no, OBD1 IS OBD1. i had an f22 in my car and bought the JDM h22a. took the backwards japanese harness off and put my F22a harness on it, wired the 2 wires and ground for VTEC and was on my way. its a brainless swap, dont over think it
