that was my first thought. looks like someone is doing a student film and they needed a time machine.or possibly a fast and furious parody. OR they just had a gift card at autozone that was about to expire.
 
I believe that car is used in the up and coming movie Mad Max a Hispanic tale

It's a remake but for Latin America.
