building poormans help!

want to start building a poormans and trying figure out what internals i want to use. and need some questions answered. this is what i have...

>b16a head (jdm/usdm?) and a b18c1usdm block. both have stock internals
thinking about using ctr pistions.
would i be able to use gsr rods?
want to use ctr cams to. but could i get away with just using the intake and the stock b16 exhaust?
can i use the b16 valves?
would i run into compression and clearance issues with this setup? with a 2 layer head gasket.. dont know where to starts need help. has anyone tried this?
can i just us b16 piston on the gsr. dont want to put too much money into the build. thanks. wanna get the best bang for buck.

you should let us know what you plan for the car. and possibly your budget. even a poor mans build needs a budget. do you plan on boosting? just going NA? is this gonna be a street car? what kinda horse power do you plan for the motor? all this kinda info will help get you better responses on your thread. and it will narrow down the debates between parts like pistons. for example, i like je pistons and i have them custom made because i do a lot of machine work to the blocks when i build a performance engine. but they cost about 900 bucks on average for the set with the wrist pins and ringset. and then many will debate everything from used pistons to every other brand of piston that is cheaper than je. everyone has their own preferance and thats cool. but to help get the debates narrowed down to let you decide better, you should give us more info on the plans for the car.

Dont use CTR pistons if its a DD, CTR pistons will give you about a 13:1 CR. Not good for pump gas.

I personally would keep the GSR head but if you have the B16 thats fine too.

So

GSR block

LS crank

LS rods with ARP rod bolts

GSR girdle (must be machined with block to work correctly)

P30 pistons

CTR cams

ITR valve springs.

can i use pr3 piston in gsr block using the gsr crank and rodes?
that would raise compression?
want a reliable build, pump gas, and hang wit evos subis etc, so i hear poormans can do.
spend less the better except for whats necessary.
dont wanna have to get much machine work done if i dont have to

If you want to hang with Evos and Subies then you will need to boost or have a expensive as hell All motor build.

Im taking that you dont know the first fucking thing about building a engine and want everybody to spoon feed you ass.

I was seriously gonna spoon feed you a parts list and a walk through. But now you can go fuck youself and build this without my help.

Read, Read again, and then read some more. Use Google. Go to honda-tech, read here.

Or else pay a shop to build your engine because your too fucking ignorant to fucking listen.

hey magana. fuck you im not trying to go on a parts hunt for all that shit. what your telling me is to basically build an ls/vtec. good motor. so all i was wondering is if i can use what i got to build. and actually im flat rate tech at acura.and more than capable, so you go fuck yourself before you start talking shit. just havent really messed with mixing parts around for a good build. bitch. mostly did straight drops. so if you actually would have read my post then you would have answered this. instead of leaving an asshole post.

First I was thinking medication imbalance - then saw it's probably testerone driven. Not to worry, around 50 ish, it tones down a bit - not a lot, but at least the edge comes off things.
