Well I finished my swap. It took me about a week. I did all of the work by myself. Started first time. Only threw one code. Fixed that after a couple days. Now I'm just trying to get rid of the D15b7, trans, and p06 ecu. $100 for all of it.

It runs pretty strong. I want to get an intake for it eventually though. Now I just need to put my new RT-615s on.

It feels a little faster than my D15b7. Keep in mind I've been driving my Dad's 01' Suburban around for about the last 2 months, that's got about 300hp/300ft/lbs. So going back to a Civic is a pretty big change in power... it's a little hard to judge. I'm happy with the power... for now. I'd always wanted to put in a B18c1 or B18b1, but that's too rich for my blood. I'm just a poor college student.

where are you going to school?

and don't worry about the car, i drove plenty of hondas and nissans while in school. once you get done, you can get something nice.

Just a community college, I was a little late to register so I didn't get my pick of classes. I just wanted to get started. My goal is to get an engineering degree of some sort. Mechanical I'm hoping.

the key here is to get a really good gpa. when you apply for other schools to finish your degree, it will become crucial. the better the gpa, the better your chances.

There are a lot of good colleges in your area. Be sure to take advantage.

Yea, I'd like to transfer to the University of Washington in Seattle after two years.

I'm in Everett, just north of Seattle. I dunno... I hadn't really considered it. Any idea what the forecast is?

exact path that im headed down.. ill be transferring to eastern in fall quarter. its an exciting field, and fairly promising given the outlook of things. lol

the car looks great mang! like 95b16coupe said just wait to get something nicer until youre out of school. i wish i would have now.

I should also mention that Brittany either helped me or gave me company the entire time I worked on my car. So I didn't do it entirely alone. My Dad helped during the motor take out and drop in part as well.

yeah taking the motor out is kind of a PITA if youre alone.

Just slowly put together a nice junkyard turbo setup. 200whp in an EG chassis is pretty damn fast.

Nice swap! I was thinking about keeping my del Sol a single cam, but I need torque :imgone:

I'm setting myself a goal to swap my Z6 for a B20Vtec in about 2-3 months :)

Also you should paint the valve cover to add a nice little touch to it.
