i traded this thing on friday last week for my truck that had a blown tranny and was rusting out really bad... well here it is its a 90 dx with the z6 swap, new short throw shifter, new windshield, new fuel pump, new suspension all around lowered about 3", cold air intake, and a new battery, si tranny, eg hatch si interior... since i've had it ive bought some sunpro gauges, new wipers, put the 3a muffler on (using pre-bent auto parts store stuff) gettin that redone sometime. I like this car and want to build a motor for it, im thinkin z6 turbo around 200-250 hp?

prove it's a Z6 and open that hood : ) i miss my vtec solenoid /cry looks good though. i personally never understood why some people paint the hoods black.... i can understand if you get it and it's a diff color from a donor, but i know some poeple who do it for looks... baffles me.

lol yeah , think they tryin to simulate a carbon fiber hood lol....

no, it was peeled really bad so he painted it, and ill get some pics of the engine tomorrow to prove it :)

whats wrong with sunpro? lol... so its throwing code 9 on my p28... cylinder position sensor... worth worrying about?

yes a code 9 is worth worrying about. My money would be on a distributor problem but also check the wiring between the dizzy and the ecu.

would that be part of the kinda bad gas mileage? (25)?

on another note... i met some really cool guys tonight and may have found a b18c1 block to start building...

your code 9 could indeed have a part to play in your gas milage. If the cyp sensor is not working properly it can mess with your ignition timing and your fuel timing.

The sensor is built into the distributor. To replace it you will need a new one. Before you buy a new distributor I would check the wiring between the dizzy and the ecu. Since the car has been swapped it could be a wiring issue.

hmm... that sucks lol dizzys are $$$ (at least for me) and ill check it... i ordered a new throw out bearing today and it was $35, i didnt think they were that much... im still looking for some rims for it... ideas?

well idk what happened, the battery wasn't charging, so i took and had that and the alternator checked and they both passed so im working on putting it back together now so i really hope its fine after putting a new terminal connector on the end in place of some cheap one... any ideas?
