Well if we're all going to boost more, it's hightly recommended that we upgrade valvetrain. Right now budget is my problem, just got laid off, got enough to tune my car but not get valvetrains, i've heard many guys doing 15 psi and more on a bone stock head, right now im at 8 psi with built bottom but bone stock head, i'm going to tune it with a gt35r and i want to do 13 or 14 psi, you guys think it'll be safe with stock valvetrain?

you should be ok, the only problem is you stop making power at some point with stock cams and port size.

Make sure you stay in stock rev limit so you dont float the valves and make a mess.

i needed 2 know how to tell the difference between a skunk2 tuner series stage 2 cams and the pro series stage 2 cams. cuz there's an add I saw that sum guy claims he has skunk2 stage 2 cams for 450. I just wanna make shure he's not selling me sum knockoff . like is there markings or codes on the cams ?

call skunk2, the least they can do is give you some measurements so you can get it checked.

ive never heard of anyone needing new valve springs etc just to run more boost. valvesprings generally have more to do with the lift of the cam ant rpm.

btw 15psi doesnt mean jack shit. 15 psi on a t25 isnt nearly the cfm as 15psi on a sc 60-1. not including the a/r and all that jazz.

a stock head will take just about anything you can throw at it.

do you guys think the supertech valve and retainers (usually off of ebay) will work well?

stock retainers break in half when hard accelerating....so not too much high redline, the acceleration of the valvetrain breaks the stock retainers abundantly. the more you boost, obviously the more power/acceleration it will gain..many people debate on this, and im just wondering if there are guys out there with stock head and making close to 400whp with stock valvetrain and how long they've had that setup for..it'd save me lots of money...plus...money to tune..

On the ends of the cams opposite of the gears all skunks cams have engraved markings. The tuner series will have something like: s2 s2, the pro will show s2 p2+. Their used to be pictures of this on HA Motorsport's site but I can't find it anymore.
