Fender Braces for the Honda Civic from HorsepowerFreaks

Has anyone ever used, or seen these used? I know they can prevent some flex. What I'm asking is if their worth the cash? Some one in my area are selling a mint pair for 150.

i'd like to grab a set sometime for my mirage. not sure if they really do anything but hell every brace may count as a whole right?

a good cage can cost you upward of a grand...

Yeah, and you just can't beat the style and grace of bolt-on's. I have a friend who installed a half roll cage into his S13 240sx, he claims he can feel the body is way more tense and stiffer than before with out it. Its only the type that has the hoop, and two bars that run to the back. So, maybe this helps fwd cars give the feeling of a stiffer front chassis? They seem useless to me though.

I knew a guy who had those on his EK Civic. He swears they made a difference, but that could of just been his "ass dyno" perception. I've never actually seen any numbers on them...

Wouldn't be cheaper and easier making a full body roll cage in that case though?
Only if the cage passes through the firewall into the strut towers.

Wonder if these make a difference...

Thats what I'm asking. These really seem like one of those pointless installs. Its like putting two condoms on. One will work just fine, why put on the second?

They perform a little weight reduction.

In your wallet.

No, seriously, supposedly they help with front end flex, but I really doubt they make that much of a difference... I won't be getting them anytime soon.
