Like rotten eggs. I can't tell if its coming from the heating ducts or not, it seems like it is but I have the air off and its so bad it makes me gag. Any suggestions on fixing this?
 
I'm pretty sure it's not. The battery makes perfect sense since it recently just started dying on me and not holding a charge, also, it's stronger on the pass. side, and only happens after some time. the exhaust looks new on the car.
 
Take a shower every now and then. Then Fabreeze your car. Problem fix.


Now on a serious note. try either replacing your cabin air filter, and or possibly open it up from the fan and make sure this isn't a dead rat or something in there?
 
does it always stink or just when the fans are on?

i had a mouse shack up in my firewall area. little kibble and lots of paper clogged my fan. it finally broke loose one day and shot confetti out of my vents. it was unreal.
 
I took the battery out and it's totally dried up. I'm pretty sure that's the problem, because it only started smelling bad when it was cranking really slow.

Good stuff...made me laugh. I can visualize you having all that effing rat nest come flying out of the vents.....and into your mouth! Then you closing your eyes as you make attempts to spit it out lol.

yeah, thats pretty much how it happened. it was an eg hatch. and you know how the fan is under the glove box. well, i saw little bits of paper down there. didn't know what it was from. had the fan on. making a terribly loud noise. i punched it a couple times and the shit broke loose. shit was flying everywhere. i had to drop the fan and clean it out later.

i sold the car before it stopped blowing out a piece or two when i turned the fan on.
