Hey everyone my name is steven this is my first post and also my first honda.. I have a 91 dx hatch and am swapping for a d16z6 vtec I have done a lot of reading on what's required for the swap but my question I haven't seen a lot of answers for.. What all in the engine bay from the dx can go to the dump? What is not needed so I can clean the bay up.. Also I live in cullman alabama if anyone is interested in help with the swap and helping a noob learn more to do the job right.. I am willing to compensate $$$ for your time just hit me up and thanks for all the replys :)

You can get rid of the firewall-mounted MAP sensor. Other than that, I don't know what I took out; but I did move a lot of stuff around.

with it being the z6 i'm almost positive you'll have to delete the resistor box mounted on the driver's side fire wall. i'm almost 100% sure you have to delete this.

DX's shouldn't have resistor boxes unless someone added it.

hey bro have you completed this swap? if you are you think you could give me a hand . im doin the same swap and, well were stuck..hit me up thanks

Hey Chavezcraz, just wondering how the B18 swap is going... I am working on getting the info and parts together to do the same.

d16z6 is one of the easiest swaps into an ef. if you dont have emissions testing then yeah pull the evap canister out. take the firewall mounted map sensor off since its on the TB now.
