I'm wondering if anyone on here has tried those short runner intake manifolds.

like this, the price seems pretty good and they say it adds like 10-15hp, I always cut that in half but still, if anyone has tried them I wouldn't mind a quick review

Short runners are good for boost, Long runners are good for all motor.

oh cool, thats what I plan on doing, I'm picking up a z6 tomorrow (was going to get a b7 but I'm getting a full z6 for $150 so I can't complain) and I'm already looking for parts for a build

not quite

long runners are good for low rpm tq.... hence the LS or CRV manifolds

once you get into the high rpm range you want short fat runners... hence the ITR manifold...

or for an example of both... the GSR manifold has dual runners... a long set for low RPM and a short set for high rpm
