flatter going under the car... sits higher against the engine... more ground clearance... less likelihood of it getting smashed to shit heading hard into an uphill or running too far out on an apron

ive got the fastline performance skid plate on my ITR 4-1 and it has done its job several times... well worth the $60

took the words right out of my mouth... errrr, fingers?

you can get 2 $175 ones for the cost of the more expensive one. and it doesn't look like it hangs too too low.

i'd say get the cheapo. if you smash it, get the 350 one with the skid plate later.

most tracks aren't too full of pot holes, or have driveways, etc to hit. i think you'll be ok with a little bit hanging. your car doesn't ride to too low.

What do you drive?

he drives a Del Sol as well
Ahhh. Yea, if I got a new header, I would definitely try to find or make a skid plate for it. Right now I've got stock b-pipe from a JDM Prelude that I got from Hmotors when I got my swap; it came pre-dented.....

the gsr doesn't sit any lower than the b16.... the header is still the same size, and so is the head.
if anything, the shorrter block deck height in the b16 would make the header sit lower to the ground.
