Hello all, Im sure that the questions I am about to ask have been answered countless times. I apologise for this but I am offshore just now for two weeks and the internet connection is painfully slow. I have tried searching for information but the page just keeps freezing before I get a chance to read anything.
So my question is, I am planning to buy a 1993 eg civic hatch back and would like to carry out a engine swap on it.
I am totally new to this but if possible I would prefer to fit either a K20A2 engine from an EP3 type r or the B18C5 from the DC2 integra.
What I would like to know is, are either of these straight forward enough i.e. bolt in or is there any custom fabrication work needed.
So for I think il need the engine, gearbox, loom, driveshafts and ecu from each of the donor cars to complete the conversion. is there anything else?
Or is there a simpler/better engine conversion possible that I dont know about?
apologies if the questions are stupid or ive got anything wrong.
thanks in advance for any help given.
